Furia Rubel Marketing and Public Relations Wins 2 Awards at Philadelphia PRSA Pepperpots

In the category of press conferences, Furia Rubel was awarded a ladle for its work with the law firm Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C. to announce the filing of a lawsuit against the city of Philadelphia and its police department in response to the police-involved shooting death of an unarmed man, Richard Ferretti. The campaign’s goal was to emphasize the importance of the case to Philadelphia, and the nation. The campaign resulted in 109 pieces of coverage from media outlets including the Associated Press, Philadelphia Inquirer, KYW Newsradio, WPVI-TV (6abc), WCAU-TV (NBC10), KYW-TV (CBS3), and WTXF-TV (Fox29).
Furia Rubel also was recognized for the design and launch of a new website for Delaware County full-service law firm Raffaele Puppio. One of the largest and most established law firms in Delaware County, Raffaele Puppio needed a website that communicated the firm’s brand and client value to its target audiences. Launched in August 2016, the new responsive website better serves the needs of the law firm’s growing client base and referring attorneys with improved functionality, easy-to-use navigation, and a more engaging user experience.
Held annually, the PRSA Pepperpot Awards recognize outstanding campaigns and tactics from agencies in the Philadelphia region. The 49th event was held on Nov. 14 at The Down Town Club in Philadelphia. Cherri Gregg, Community Affairs reporter for KYW Newsradio, was the emcee for the evening.
