Blunck shares, “There is a war of good and evil, and back when I was fourteen, I received a Ouija board for my birthday. I thought it was cool to use with my friends to talk with the spirit world. Later I would learn how the Bible says that we are not to communicate with those who have died before us. Two episodes have convinced me how wrong it was to seek out the spirit world. Karen had an overnight party, and we were in her room playing with this board when it seemed like an evil spirit took over her. She got a knife and tried to hurt Sheila. I got in between to protect Sheila when she threw the knife, and it stuck in the door behind me. Karen took off running. She lived on a farm and could have run anywhere. I went to look for her while the others stayed at the home. I prayed earnestly for her safety and that I would find her. In less than thirty minutes, I found Karen near a wooded area crying. I held her tight and prayed over her. The rest of the party was free of incidence. No more messing with the spirit world. The next morning, we got up early to watch a beautiful sunrise on a hillside. God prevailed.”
