InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Universal Vacuum Adapter, to applicable companies for their consideration.

An inventor from Lancaster, Calif., has developed the patent-pending UNIVERSAL VACUUM ADAPTER, an accessory for wet/dry vacuum based dust removal systems employed in various bench top/freestanding tool environments.

"My profession as a contractor inspired me to develop my invention. I wanted to develop a way to more effectively and efficiently collect dust during work projects," said the inventor.

The UNIVERSAL VACUUM ADAPTER is an ideal accessory for woodworking contractors, as well as do-it-yourselfers. It eliminates the need to manually control the operation of a dust collection system. It will, in turn, prevent potential problems with overloaded circuits. This handy adapter is adaptable for use with most typical shop vacuums.

The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
