Gus Beck, a California-based couple who combined their creative ideas as they wrote, have completed their new book “In God’s Hands”. This book is an enchanting story of a law that is referred to as “In God’s Hands,” and highlights a criminal as he goes through God’s trilogy, JUSTICE-REDEMPTION-RENEWAL.
Author Beck presents the plight of imprisoned people through fiction: “It was common to be wakened in the middle of the night for some type of medical exam or emergency drill. Then before you can fall back to sleep the horn would sound that breakfast was being served and the daily routine schedule would begin. What his body needed now, more than ever was a little nap, but thirty minutes later, his eyes were wide open. The initial hearing was on his mind, and he didn’t know what to expect. The fact that he was involved in an incident where three innocent lives were lost was too difficult to bear. Flashbacks of their faces went through his mind. He saw the little girl in the stroller and quickly felt guilty of depriving her of a life and thought of how much pain he inflicted on her family. A tear ran down his cheek as he repeated to himself, ‘No one was supposed to get hurt.’”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Gus Beck’s gripping book fast forwards to the year 2022 where a society has passed the new law called “In God’s Hands” that is believed to lower the crime rate and make a country a better place.
Readers who wish to experience this evocative work can purchase “In God’s Hands” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, Kobo or Barnes and Noble.
