Pittsburgh-based InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is submitting this client’s idea, Stiff Arm, in the hopes of a good faith review.

An inventor from Arlington, Va., knows the importance of having secure doors to keep put would-be intruders. "A home is only as safe as its door is strong, so I decided that there should be a way to maximize door security in order to avoid break-ins," he said. "Eventually, I came up with the idea for the STIFF ARM."

This device provides extra security for a home by improving the strength of a door. As a result, it helps deter break-ins and other crimes. It also might cause the would-be intruder to flee.

Ergonomic, easy to use and ideal for single mothers, women and college students, the STIFF ARM promotes safety and peace of mind.

The original design was submitted to the Washington, D.C. office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
