Market Traders Institute’s Trading For Ta-Tas Reaches Record Donations
ORLANDO, Fla. (PRWEB) November 23, 2017 -- Market Traders Institute (MTI), a leader in trading technologies and investor education, reached a record high in annual donations for Florida Hospital for Women supporting their breast cancer awareness and treatment efforts.
The 2017 Trading for Ta-Tas campaign started with a bang at MTI’s Teeing for Ta-Tas event at the Shingle Creek Golf Club on September 23, 2017. The event brought together the community to raise funds for the cause while enjoying a day out on the course. With overwhelming support from sponsorships including Financial Media Corp., Greensburg Traurig, CRBE and Gambin Financial Group, MTI was able to break past their annual fundraising goal with a total of $48,406 raised for Florida Hospital's Pink Out campaign.
The Pink Out campaign helps raise breast health awareness and provides mammogram screenings for locals in Central Florida who cannot afford testing. MTI chose to partner with Florida Hospital for Women because of their dedicated life-changing diagnosis, treatments and rehabilitation efforts of breast cancer patients.
In support of this campaign, MTI held its tradition of pledging to match all donations up to $10,000 as well as a free 2-hour exclusive training session for each client that donated to the cause. Internally, the company raised additional funds with Casual for a Cure to wear casual dress in the office, shuffle puck tournaments and raffle prizes from their sponsors.
“Raising this money means hundreds of women will be afforded the opportunity for free early detection screenings, which can lead to early treatment and successful results” says Jacob Martinez, CEO of MTI. “Every dollar going to research and early detection matters, and we are proud to have surpassed this year's goal of $45,000 with a total donation over $48,406. This would not have been possible without the support of our team and community!”
MTI’s $125,000 pledge to Florida Hospital for Women by 2019 was surpassed this year with a grand total of $162,814 in total donations to the cause over the past 6 years.
