Push to Walk Participating in Giving Tuesday with Push-Ups for Push to Walk Campaign
OAKLAND, N.J. (PRWEB) November 22, 2017 -- Nov. 28, 2017 is Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to giving back to non-profits and charities following the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. With the success of last years “Push-Ups for Push to Walk” Campaign, the organization will continue to post videos and photos on social media with the hashtag #PushUpsForPushtoWalk of staff, clients and supporters participating in push-ups as a means of raising awareness to donate to Push to Walk. Promotion of the campaign will begin immediately, and continue through Giving Tuesday leading into the End of Year Campaign.
Last year, Push to Walk was able to raise nearly $1,000 through this campaign and hopes to top that amount this year. Push to Walk encourages supporters to send or tag the organization in videos or photos of them participating in #PushUpsForPushToWalk on social media. The non-profit is unable to cover all operating expenses through client fees, and relies largely on special events and generous donations to raise funds. Participation in this campaign is a great opportunity to engage clients, friends and followers in a meaningful effort to attract donations on this special global day of giving.
“Each year we enjoy participating in Giving Tuesday, not only for the jumpstart on our Year End Appeal, but for the fun opportunity to spread awareness for Push to Walk,” said Stephanie Lajam, Operations Director. “The holidays are a time to give back and we are appreciative of the generosity we have experienced in past years, and could not be more grateful for our supporters in our almost eleven years of service.”
