The Pudding Truck, an innovative dessert concept within the burgeoning gourmet food truck sector, announced today the unveiling of a new brand identity, logo, and design aesthetic showcasing its new custom wrapped truck. The rebrand reflects The Pudding Truck’s development and vision for the future while maintaining its core value of bringing the decadent goodness of old-school American stove top pudding to the people of Los Angeles.

Founded by young female business owner Carrie Cohen, The Pudding Truck is an entrepreneurial "emerging growth" company with a brand and menu widely followed within the specialty dessert sector. The company currently operates in the greater Los Angeles area and is rolling out into additional markets with the goal of becoming one of the most desired and successful operators in the gourmet dessert food truck space. As a result of its rebranding, The Pudding Truck is gaining a deeper devoted base of customers, both corporate & consumer, as well as steadily increasing social media followers and general media attention. This is allowing the company to capitalize further on its unique position as the first and only pudding truck in this rapidly growing industry.

“Being a food truck gives us a versatile way to provide our unique product to the consumer. Now not only can people experience how delicious and whimsical pudding can be, but we can also tailor that experience to fit the tastes of each area and event we visit,” said Carrie.

The brand new vinyl wrap displays a clear shift from the prior childish rainbow colored theme to a more traditionally classic palette with a purple flare. This rebrand combines the inherently comforting and nostalgic connotations of pudding with something much more modern, resulting in an aesthetic that simultaneously evokes the traditional as well as the boldly new.

Owner Carrie Cohen has spent months in collaboration with The Sulfur Group to create a comprehensive brand identity, revamp the entire operations and internal structuring for optimal efficiency, and position for aggressive expansion. Although the aesthetic has changed, the essence of the brand that Carrie started in 2014 remains true to its core: a love of old-school American stove top pudding. Their version doesn't come from an instant mix, but instead is hand-whisked in small batches to ensure top-notch quality. This artisanal approach allows them to offer a consistently delicious range of flavors from Chocolate to Butterscotch to Southern-Style Banana Pudding. Almost all of their puddings are completely gluten-free, and they carefully craft vegan flavors to be a frequent presence on the rotating menu. A delightful array of toppings makes treats totally customizable, and everything is served up by a friendly team of pudding slingers who help make every customer feel like a kid again.

Look out for The Pudding Truck to appear at major food events around the Los Angeles area, such as First Fridays in Venice, CA, Melrose Trading Post at Fairfax High School, or at your next private event or corporate party! Follow at @ThePuddingTruck
