Lifecycle Biotechnologies Launches Newly Designed SAFEthread Drum
FORT WORTH, Texas (PRWEB) December 05, 2017 -- Lifecycle Biotechnologies, a leading life science tools and services supplier, has announced the innovative redesign and shift to US-based production of their SAFEthread Drum. Manufactured at Lifecycle’s VI Plastics facility, the restyled drum will be used internally for shipments of aqueous custom and semi-custom reagents and chemicals from Lifecycle’s Chata Biosystems facility and serum shipments to Lifecycle’s Boval BioSolutions. The new SAFEthread Drum will also be available for external sales in a variety of energizing bright colors as it's made available to the manufacturing and supply chain industries.
“Bringing production in-house to our VI Plastics facility using high quality HDPE plastic, the SAFEthread Drums will be manufactured under our ISO9001:2015 certified Quality Management System,” said Aaron Schieving, Director of Sales and Marketing for Lifecycle Biotechnologies. “Since our new design is based on years of customer feedback, we know response will be outstanding. The US-based quality control coupled with the palette of trendy colors available is already generating excitement in our wholesale business because the drums can be customized to align with any brand.”
The SAFEthread Drum recast is now a simplified two-piece container of drum and lid eliminating the metal ring which caused disruption during transit. No longer having the potential of cutting or tearing gloves upon opening, the restyled SAFEthread Drum is more secure and easier to manage.
“We are proud to start the new year with a redesign which reflects our innovation and vision,” said Schieving. “By taking a classic technology and breathing new life into it, with an improved design and choices of vibrant colors, we are addressing the urgency of the industry to meet modern needs.” Schieving notes that “Be Relevant” is a core company value and this is a clear demonstration of exactly that.
