Giving back is one of the reasons of the season. Let’s make sure everybody in our community gets a warm meal and a chance to share with their family. After all, neighbors helping neighbors who have fallen on hard times is what it’s all about!
WEST BERLIN, N.J. (PRWEB) November 28, 2017
Ludwig Financial Group, a full-service insurance and financial planning provider serving the families and businesses of South Jersey, has announced the latest beneficiary of their recently launched community involvement program, Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ). The regional nonprofit organization is the largest provider of donated groceries in the state, helping to feed nearly one million people every year. Donations may now be made at https://www.crowdrise.com/giving-is-the-reason-for-the-season.
Simply stated, CFBNJ fights the hunger and poverty which is felt in virtually every community in the state. Almost half of their clients come from working households. Unfortunately, children seem to feel the pangs most dearly. With 1 in 7 children affected by food insecurity, the condition is all too often reflected in school attendance and performance. In South Jersey, the community served by Ludwig Financial Group, 1 in every 5 children faces food insecurity. CFBNJ works with 300 community partners to distribute 50 million pounds of food each year – and has found ways to leverage every dollar donated, translating each $1 into $8 of groceries for those in need. A heroic effort is made during the holidays to provide hot, satisfying holiday meals for as many struggling families as possible, striving to fill the emptiness caused by hunger with food, help and hope.
“Giving back is one of the reasons of the season,” said Marc Ludwig, president of Ludwig Financial Group. “Let’s make sure everybody in our community gets a warm meal and a chance to share with their family. After all, neighbors helping neighbors who have fallen on hard times is what it’s all about!”
Compassionate community members who would like to join with Ludwig Financial to provide holiday meals for hungry neighbors need not even reach into their own pockets to do so. The agency itself has pledged to donate a whopping $20 to Community FoodBank of New Jersey for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Meanwhile, the agency’s caring team is hard at work promoting the initiative through a dynamic social media and email outreach campaign. They have also featured the cause in their print and electronic magazine, Our Hometown. Helping customers and friends to ‘live well and thrive’, the publication is delivered to thousands of households in South Jersey every month. Current and past issues may be enjoyed at http://ludwigfingroup.com/magazines/.
Ludwig Financial Group has demonstrated their devotion to the people of their community by the recent establishment of a master charity program, which is part of the nationally celebrated ‘Agents of Change’ movement. “We are fully committed to helping those in need in our community, and will be selecting a new group, family or individual to support every two to three months,” promised Ludwig.
