"I was tired of attending events and having to hold both a plate and a glass, which did not leave me with a free hand to eat or shake hands or do other things," said an inventor from Moneta, Va. "For this reason, I designed a better platter for use at parties."

He developed the patent-pending CUP CADDY to offer space to hold a beverage. The unit provides a better way to manage both food items and a drink. It keeps a hand free for eating, greeting guests and doing other things. This eliminates hassles and frustrations. The plate is designed to be more practical and convenient than conventional versions. Furthermore, it is usable with a wide array of foods and beverages.

The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
