Wilmington Trust Hires William Marder as Head of Product Development for Project Finance Team
NEW YORK (PRWEB) November 29, 2017 -- Wilmington Trust hired William Marder as head of product development for the Project Finance group, part of the Global Capital Markets division. He’ll work to grow and enhance product offerings, notably in the provision of comprehensive administrative agent services. Based in Wilmington Trust’s New York office, he’ll also support various Project Finance initiatives across the Americas.
Marder has more than 25 years of experience in the finance sector. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, he was the global product manager for Project Finance at Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas. Earlier in his career, Marder worked as a lender in the project finance sector at GE Capital Energy Finance Services and Fortis Capital, where he focused on the power and renewables sectors.

Marder earned an MBA from Fordham University, and a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. He was a member of the U.S. Council of the International Project Finance Association from 2011 to 2015.
He is a regular speaker at industry events, having spoken at more than 40 conferences on topics related to project finance.
