The Chertoff Group Principal Adam Isles to Present Live Webinar Titled, “Leveraging the SAFETY Act – Building an Effective Security Program”
WASHINGTON, D.C. (PRWEB) November 29, 2017 -- WHAT:
Enterprises face increasingly dynamic risks to their business - including changing threat actor objectives and increasingly varied physical and cyber tactics, techniques and procedures. Numerous organizations that have invested in compliance programs are nonetheless experiencing major incidents, with significant operational, legal and reputational impacts. In this environment, organizations are increasingly asking: “How do I know whether I have an effective security program in place?”
To answer this question, Adam Isles, principal at The Chertoff Group (TCG) - a premier global advisory firm that provides security risk management, business strategy and merchant banking advisory services, will present a live webinar titled, “Leveraging the SAFETY Act – Building an Effective Security Program.” Hosted by the American Bar Association, Isles will discuss the changing nature of enterprise security risk, SAFETY Act implications, and how TCG’s risk management approach can help enterprises build and maintain effective security risk management programs.
Recently, TCG’s security risk management consulting methodology was granted SAFETY Act designation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology Directorate. To obtain SAFETY Act designation, TCG had to prove that its methodology demonstrated substantial utility and effectiveness, as well as availability for immediate deployment, among other factors. TCG is one of the only professional services companies in the world to have achieved SAFETY Act designation across all industries for its proven cyber-physical security risk management consulting methodology.
