PALMco Energy Launches Matching Donation Drive for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, New Jersey
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PRWEB) November 29, 2017 -- PALMco Energy (PALMco), a privately-owned retail energy supply company, today announced a matching holiday donation drive for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County (BGCHC) in Jersey City and Hoboken, New Jersey to support afterschool programming. PALMco will match donations to the BGCHC dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $5,000 throughout the run of the campaign. The drive will last until December 18, at 5PM. The total contribution, including matching funds, will be presented at the Hoboken Boys & Girls Clubs Holiday Party, on December 20.
“Every student should have the resources necessary for a proper education and we hope that with this holiday gift campaign, we will rally the PALMco Energy community to provide the students of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County with equipment and supplies to help them in the New Year and beyond,” said Robert Palmese, Chief Executive Officer of PALMco Energy. “At PALMco we understand the importance of investing in our communities and ensuring that we put extra care into supporting young people so that they can be successful in life. For over 124 years the BGCHC has provided children throughout Hoboken and Jersey City with a safe afterschool venue, positive adult mentors and role models, healthy lifestyle activities, and character and leadership programs that give them the greatest chances of success in life.
In September 2016, PALMco donated over $5,000 of school supplies to the BGCHC. Over one dozen PALMco team members visited the afterschool program to assemble 144 individual, fully stocked backpacks to support students throughout the 2016-2017 school year.
