R.E.A.C.H. Real Estate, Education and Community Housing, Inc. Renovates and Sells Property with an Interest-Free Loan, to Former U.S. Air Force Sergeant Carl Staley
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (PRWEB) December 01, 2017 -- R.E.A.C.H. – or Real Estate Education and Community Housing – was founded in 2006 with a mission to inspire and motivate our Community to take the steps necessary to reach for and achieve the American dream of homeownership, equal justice and healthy families. The organization acquires foreclosed or donated properties, and renovates them to offer for sale too low to moderate income families.
Wells Fargo donated the home to Real Estate, Education and Community Housing, Inc. (R.E.A.C.H.), which is providing a path to homeownership for a veteran. Wells Fargo donated the property in Riviera Beach, Florida through its Community and Urban Stabilization Program. R.E.A.C.H. then renovated the house, and Vietnam War veteran Carl Staley and his wife Yvonne will purchase the property with an interest free loan provided by R.E.A.C.H. Staley served as a U.S. Air Force Sergeant stationed in Kunsan, Korea in support of the Vietnam War.
Damien Haitsuka, Region Bank President for Wells Fargo, joins R.E.A.C.H. Executive Director Michael Roberts, and Advisory Board member Richard Tracey to present the key and honor Carl Staley during the University of Florida Gators football game. Carl’s son, Michael Staley, was present joining his father.
Through its Community and Urban Stabilization Program (CUSP), Wells Fargo donates properties to nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and government entities, which can choose how to use the properties in a way that furthers their mission. Wells Fargo has donated more than 9,000 homes across the U.S. since the beginning of its property donation program in 2009.
