Improved Audiovisual Recording Smartphone Invented (WDH-2158)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 01, 2017 -- PITTSBURGH...Due to a recent rise in news stories involving police encounters with motorists leading to injury or tragedy, tensions have grown between some civilians and police officers. A key component of such news stories has been the recording of the encounter by the motorist or passengers. Such videos have been submitted in courts or streamed on social media sites and help officials piece together an accurate account of what happened.
An inventor from Waldorf, Md., has invented DOUBLE CAM APP, a smartphone that uses a special app for recording video from the front and rear cameras simultaneously. "I felt compelled to invent this device due to recent activities between police officers and motorists," said the inventor. "My invention allows users to quickly and easy record any encounter for both live-streaming or future playback."
DOUBLE CAM APP enables the operator to record, store and replay video from both directions for use in different situations, providing an audiovisual account of the encounter so that any problems that might have developed were effectively recorded.
This invention helps protect a driver against false accusations while also making officers more mindful of their actions. It provides users with peace of mind that certain encounters and interactions with police officers will be fully recorded and available should such evidence be needed in court.
