InventHelp, found in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, Light Em Up, to applicable companies for their consideration.

An inventor, from Lakeville, Minn., thought there needed to be a unique way to enhance the look of an ordinary pickup truck or over-the-road truck/semi, so he invented the LIGHT EM UP.

The LIGHT EM UP provides a unique way to customize and accessorize a truck. In doing so, it enhances personal style. It also could attract attention. The invention features an eye-catching design that is easy to install and use so it is ideal for the owners of trucks. Additionally, the LIGHT EM UP is producible in design variations and a prototype is available.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design enables truck owners to show off their personal style.”

The original design was submitted to the Minneapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
