InventHelp Inventor Develops Cover for Sleep Mats Used in Child Care Settings
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 01, 2017 -- Getting a young child to take a nap is often a challenge but particularly so in a childcare setting where groups of youngsters nap side by side on foam mats. Luckily, an inventor from Metairie, La., has found a way to make it much easier.
She developed a prototype for KINDER MAT COVER to provide warmth and comfort for young children at nap time in a childcare environment. Since it is machine washable and dryer safe, it helps control germs and promotes more sanitary conditions in a day care setting. Furthermore it is lightweight, portable and easy to store. This invention is also safe, practical and user friendly. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor’s personal concerns inspired the idea. “The folding kinder mats used at nap time on the floors of preschools and nursery schools are often plastic and feel cold to the touch,” she said. “This idea would provide the children with a warmer and more comfortable surface for a more restful sleep.”
The original design was submitted to the New Orleans office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
