DeCew and Steen will be launching the San Diego office of Founders Professional - the company’s fifth location. These two new hires reinforce Founders Professional’s unwavering commitment to a West Coast presence.
In these new roles, DeCew and Steen will work hand-in-hand with retail insurance agencies throughout the West in securing coverage for their clients hard-to-place professional liability and management liability insurance risks. DeCew will focus his efforts on the placement of miscellaneous professional liability risks and management liability risks across a multitude of industries, while Steen will focus his efforts on the architects and engineers marketplace – and helping retail insurance agents navigate the world of professional liability insurance in those arenas.

Additionally, Steen has earned his RPLU designation from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), confirming his dedication to and expertise in the professional liability arena.
