Summer is usually synonymous with bare feet that are often exposed to the heat and germs. Fortunately, two inventors from Middle Island, N.Y.., have come up with a way to keep the soles of the feet clean, healthy and comfortable.

They developed CLEARFEET to protect the soles of the feet against burning hot sand. As such, it not only improves personal hygiene but keeps feet clear of bacteria. Therefore, it prevents the spread of germs and disease. At the same time, it cools the bottom of the feet and is safe, comfortable, and easy to use. It is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is especially beneficial for individuals with diabetes.

The inventors’ personal experience inspired the idea. “When I was at the beach, the hot sand always burned my feet. Wearing shoes didn’t solve the problem because I don’t like sand in my shoes. Also, my children never keep anything on their feet in the back yard or around the pool. So I needed a way to protect the soles of our feet,” one of them said.

The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
