CANOGA PARK, Calif. (PRWEB) December 02, 2017
WICR Waterproofing and Decking is part of CAI-GLAC’s Community Outreach Committee, which organized and promoted the collection of toy donations at the Westfield Mall in Canoga Park today. Together, they fill a caravan of vehicles plus a trailer full of toys, and dressed in holiday costumes to make the charitable delivery. The toy trailer is decorated with WICR Waterproofing’s mascot, the giant rubber duck.
Aptly named the “Stuff A Bus” event, ABC7 Eyewitness News is on hand to gather live coverage as the toys are ‘stuffed’ into large buses. The toys will be sorted by age group and gender, wrapped, and distributed to underprivileged children throughout the Los Angeles area.
“This is our favorite event of the year," said WICR’s Androniki Bossonis. “Our entire staff gets involved to collect toys and take part in decorating the float, and the toy delivery. It makes us proud to be part of the CAI-GLAC organization, as this is one of the many community outreach projects they contribute to each year.”
The Spark of Love Toy Drive collected more than 500,000 toys last year.
The Community Associations Institute educates and certifies property managers. Members of CAI include property management companies, as well as vendors such as waterproofing & decking specialists, landscapers, pest control companies, and other vendors that serve community associations.
