InventHelp Inventor Develops Multi-Position Shower Head Attachment
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 03, 2017 -- While there are a number of assistive devices on the market to help elderly and disabled individuals maintain their independence, showering unassisted can still present a challenge. Fortunately, an inventor from Morgantown, W.Va., has come up with a solution.
He developed MULTIFLEX SHOWER HEAD to provide an adjustable hands free alternative to conventional shower heads. As such, it accommodates multiple desired positions depending on the preference, needs and height of the user. Furthermore, it remains in the set position and shape until manually readjusted. Thus, it provides greater personal care independence for elderly and disabled users both in the home and in medical facilities. This innovative fixture is also durable, practical and easy to install and use. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced. The unit could also be used as a pet wash. It allows the user to adjust the showerhead to fit seated, standing and kneeling persons. It is hands-free as well.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “My elderly father had to sit in the shower due to health issues and found the conventional fixed shower head too high and the hose-style shower head too inconvenient since he had to hold it with one hand and wash with the other,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
