VT MAK to Exhibit Synthetic Training Environment at I/ITSEC
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) December 02, 2017 -- .VT MAK, (MAK), a company of Vision Technologies Systems, Inc. (VT Systems), today announced the demonstration of a synthetic training environment (STE) that delivers enhanced training results, at booth #1213 at I/ITSEC 2017, November 27-30.
The synthetic training environment provides attendees with a chance to experience MAK products as they interact with one another to create a complete simulation solution. The MAK products work cohesively to set up and manage the training scenario, simulate training roles, as well as record and present training results.
VR-Engage, MAK’s new multi-role virtual simulator, will be playing a central role in the STE. It will be used to play first-person roles of a Driver, Gunner, Commander, Soldier, Police Officer, Pilot, Paratrooper and Forward Observer. The VR-Engage also offers game-quality immersive simulation combined with open architecture, enabling customization and integration into a diverse range of system configurations.
In addition to the STE, MAK will be showing the advancements they have made to their product line. VR-Forces enables 50% better performance, while its art and simulation visualization in general has taken a major leap forward, with the use of new models as well as more beautiful and visually rich scenes. In tandem with a dynamic terrain, these improvements allow for higher-fidelity simulations that improve training outcomes.
MAK will be participating in Operation Blended Warrior (OBW), with 2017 being the third year that the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA) has sponsored the OBW special event at I/ITSEC. Each year, MAK contributes simulation entities to the distributed exercise involving over 50 organizations. This year, MAK’s VR-Vantage Stealth and its VR-Exchange will be at the OBW booth, the former as a primary 3D viewer and the latter serving as the primary bridge between Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) 6 and DIS 7 traffic. This will enable participants to make use of the latest IEEE 1278.1-2012 standard and still interoperate with the systems running the legacy version.
Finally, attendees can check out Digital Projection’s booth, where MAK’s VR-Vantage IG will be lighting up three 4K channels at 60Hz. Scalable Display Technologies’ edge blending is built into VR-Vantage. The demo will be running on RAVE Computers with NVIDIA GPUs and Sync cards.
"This year at I/ITSEC 2017, MAK is very excited to showcase our most complete suite of products ever,” said Dan Schimmel, CEO, MAK. “Individually, all of our Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software offerings have been significantly enhanced during the past year. Collectively, we've designed them to work together beautifully - as the market demands more complete, integrated solutions from dependable providers, MAK is increasingly well positioned to help our customers succeed in building synthetic training environments."
“We pride ourselves on making simulation products that get the job done and allow our customers to build winning simulation systems,” said Dan Brockway, VP of Marketing, MAK. This year, we have a synthetic training environment demo that clearly proves that point.”
