ActiveKidMD Physician Becomes Part of U.S. Figure Skating’s Sports Medicine Network
ANAHEIM, Calif. (PRWEB) December 05, 2017 -- ActiveKidMD is pleased to announce that Dr. Chris Koutures, a leading pediatric and sports medicine specialist, has been selected by the U.S. Figure Skating Program to be a part of their Sports Sciences and Medicine National Network.

“I am honored to be a part of this national network,” said Dr. Chris Koutures. “I have had the privilege of serving as the Medical Team Physician for the USA Volleyball since 2005, including traveling with them to the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008. So I am super excited to be able to work the with U.S. Figure Skating program as these athletes prepare for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Korea.”

He recently completed a six-year elected term as a member of the Executive Committee for the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness, has written over 20 professional articles, and is the co-author of the Pediatric Sports Medicine: Essentials for Office Evaluation textbook published by SLACK Incorporated in October, 2013.
