InventHelp Inventor Develops Pants for Paraplegics and Quadriplegics (CNC-116)
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 05, 2017 -- "During my career as a nurse I have dealt with many paralyzed patients," said an inventor from Norwood, N.C. "I saw the need for pants that would keep the wearer’s legs from separating in order to stop injuries and possible loss of limbs."
She developed the patent-pending PARA-PANTS to prevent involuntary and unwanted movement of the lower extremities. The pants reduce the risk of injuries. The garment keeps legs from falling off the bed and ensure that they do not separate when transferring to and/or from a wheelchair. This is designed for enhanced safety. Additionally, the pants feature a stylish appearance that does not draw undue attention to the wearer’s condition.
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
