Volterra Energy Holdings Launches Retail Electricity Brand, Volterra Energy
HOUSTON (PRWEB) December 05, 2017 -- Volterra Energy Holdings (VEH), the Houston-based parent company for a family of retail electricity brands, today announced the launch of a new brand, Volterra Energy. The company will offer competitive electricity packages with a unique philanthropic approach.
For each customer that signs up, Volterra Energy makes a contribution to a nonprofit partnering with the company. Currently, Volterra Energy has relationships and affinity relationships with 10 nonprofit organizations, including: Bo’s Place, Laurel’s Army Foundation, Kids’ Meals, Champions Kids Camp, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, Comp-U-Dopt, Northwest Assistance Ministries, Sunshine Kids, Child Advocates of Fort Bend, and CRY America. New charities are added to Volterra Energy’s donation list on an ongoing basis driven by customer recommendations.
“We are thrilled to launch the Volterra Energy brand today and look forward to growing this branch of our business as we continue to look for opportunities in deregulated markets,” said Volterra Energy Chief Executive Officer Neville Ravji. “Giving back to the community has always been important to us. So, launching a brand that focuses on this aspect of our business philosophy only seems natural and is the right thing to do,” said Ravji.
Volterra Energy offers residential and commercial plans, as well as tailored affinity programs. Plans are tailored to the customer and competitive in price.
“Many in our community are suffering,” said Ravji. “Our job is not done. It is our mission to grow this brand and increase our profits and customer count so we can further reach those in need.”
The company celebrated the Volterra Energy brand launch by bringing together charity and business partners for a special launch event late November. Hank Moore, corporate strategist and author of Pulitzer Prize-nominated book Non-Profit Legends, provided remarks at the event and saluted Volterra Energy for its philanthropic efforts.
“The launch of the Volterra Energy brand is an exciting milestone for the company and community,” said corporate strategist Hank Moore. “I applaud Volterra Energy for taking an active role in giving back and look forward to witnessing the company’s local impact.”
The VEH portfolio includes Volterra Energy, Discount Power, and Power Express, all of which are retail electricity providers (REPs) that offer tailored electricity packages to customers across Texas.
