Pittsburgh-based InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is submitting this client’s idea, Emergency Locator Device, in the hopes of a good faith review.

“I thought there needed to be a better way for first responders to locate hikers and boaters during emergency situations,” said an inventor, from Ravenel, S.C., “so I invented the EMERGENCY LOCATOR DEVICE.”

The patent-pending EMERGENCY LOCATOR DEVICE provides an effective way to locate an individual outdoors in the event of an emergency. In doing so, it offers an improved alternative to traditional flairs and beacons. As a result, it saves time and effort and it enhances safety. The invention features a lightweight design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the EMERGENCY LOCATOR DEVICE is producible in design variations.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design ensures that your location is visible in the event of an outdoor emergency.”

The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
