I was given an advanced copy by the publisher. I have to admit for me the story is well worth reading until the end. It is an exciting story and the other world is a real adventure. Now, in all honesty, the first part of the book was really just building the character up and at times I found I was waiting for the action to begin. When it did it really kicked off and for me, it felt like an original idea. Rather than the usual story of a boy making friends with a dragon, here the boy becomes a dragon. This story in itself is a good read, but I believe this will show the rest of the series will be great. So I would say read this book and enjoy it. I think it is aimed at Young Adults but it can appeal to any age.
