InventHelp Inventor Develops Convenient Fifth Wheel Pin Puller for Tractor Trailers (ROH-332)
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 07, 2017 -- In order to release the trailer from the tractor, a truck driver must use a special tool to pull the release handle, unlocking the fifth wheel to pull the tractor away. Conventional tools used in this capacity are typically long and cumbersome, and require the driver to strain to reach the pin.
An inventor from Fulton, N.Y., has invented COLLAPSIBLE FIFTH WHEEL PULLER, a modified fifth wheel pin puller for commercial truck drivers that is less cumbersome than its conventional counterpart. "I was inspired by my own personal experience as a tractor trailer driver," said the inventor. "Traditional pin pullers can be difficult to handle, so I wanted to create a more convenient version of this tool." COLLAPSIBLE FIFTH WHEEL PULLER is easier to handle, store, transport and carry around in different trucks than conventional fifth wheel pin pullers.
It also provides leverage and effective pulling power for the trucker from a convenient outer location. It also requires less stretching and manual force to disconnect the trailer from the tractor, saving the truck driver from potential muscle strains or injuries."
