Built-In Ramp for Pickup Truck Beds Developed by InventHelp Inventor (SDB-1025)
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 07, 2017 -- The process of loading equipment and other heavy items into the bed of a pickup truck is one that requires the assistance of additional manpower and even machinery. Between the weight of the item in question and the height of the truck bed, loading such equipment can be time-consuming and cause muscle strains or injuries.
An inventor from La Mesa, Calif., has invented TELESCOPING PICKUP TRUCK RAMP, a permanently installed ramp assembly for a pickup truck bed that makes loading large equipment quick and easy. "I came up with this idea in 1985 when I was loading my ATV into my pickup truck," said the inventor. "I built my first prototype out of wood, and now many years later, I believe my invention would benefit a wide range of users." TELESCOPING PICKUP TRUCK RAMP eliminates heavy direct lifting or fumbling with cumbersome portable ramps.
This invention also eliminates direct lifting and manual handling of heavy equipment or calling upon others to assist. By design, it is readily available whenever and wherever needed without consuming significant bed space. It would appeal to all owners of vans, trailers, toy haulers, etc., as well as contractors and laborers.
The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
