LiveCareer Opens Applications for 2018 Education Opportunities Scholarship
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) December 07, 2017 -- College can be an expensive undertaking, but LiveCareer, America’s leading site for jobseekers, is offering three talented students a way to receive financial assistance and get prepped for the working world.
The one-stop online career destination announced today that its third annual Education Opportunities Scholarship is open for applications. Three winning students will be awarded $1,500 each in scholarship money based on the strength of their submission.
“A core goal of LiveCareer is to help jobseekers discover their professional passions. This is especially important for students who are preparing to enter the workforce,” said BOLD CFO Heather Williams. “To that end, LiveCareer will award three $1,500 scholarships in 2018. The winners will be determined through an essay competition in which applicants detail the professional, academic, or extracurricular achievement that they would be most proud to share with a future employer.”

Essays, which must be submitted no later than February 28, 2018, must be 200 to 800 words in length. Entries will be judged on originality, writing ability, and passion.
