The Mountain, a New-Hampshire-based eco-friendly apparel retailer and manufacturer, has partnered with predictive customer analytics platform provider, Zodiac, to bring Zodiac’s powerful forward-looking insights to its B2C expansion efforts.
The Mountain will look to Zodiac’s data outputs to inform its B2C customer acquisition strategy by identifying existing customers with a high future lifetime value and, armed with this data, acquire similar customers through channels such as Google and Facebook. Zodiac will also help the company identify lapsed customers and create segments for retention marketing efforts.
After closing its retail locations in 1996, The Mountain became a B2B business, selling their t-shirts and other apparel through third party retailers. In 2010, the company launched its B2C website – http://www.themountain.com – to begin selling its nature-themed artwear directly to consumers. The partnership with Zodiac will help the company identify the best channels for e-commerce growth, as well as the most profitable customer segments to target.
