PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 08, 2017 -- An inventor from Mesa, Ariz., has developed the Speed Block, a platform that supports a ladder on a level plane when it is positioned on a flight of stairs. A prototype is available.
"My job inspired me to invent this item. I wanted to provide a safer way to work on a ladder positioned on a staircase. This will eliminate the need for multiple workers to hold a ladder," said the inventor.
The Speed Block improves the balance of a ladder on a staircase. This will, in turn, allow a person to work on a ladder in a safe and stable manner. This will provide workers with confidence on the job and enhance worker productivity. In addition, this platform will help prevent unnecessary falls and subsequent injuries.
The original design was submitted to the Phoenix office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
