PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 09, 2017 -- An inventor from Dallas, Texas, was disturbed by the numbers of reported deaths of babies and young children in car seats who were left unsupervised in locked cars. As a result, she came up with an easy way to prevent such tragedies.
She developed FORGET ME NOT TEDDY to protect infants and young children against injury or death from having been left unattended in a locked car. As such, it alerts a parent if a child is still in the car seat after ignition has been turned off and driver is five feet away from the vehicle. Thus, it affords peace of mind for concerned parents. Other benefits are convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price. This novel lightweight, compact and portable system is also reliable, practical and user friendly. In addition, this device is easy to install in a motor vehicle.
The inventor’s personal concerns for child safety inspired the idea. “I invented this item to reduce the risk of injury or death to children as a result of being forgotten and left behind unattended in car seats. A news report about the number of kids who suffer or die from heat stroke in locked motor vehicles inspired me to take this action.”
The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
