Entries Open for Area’s Premier Marketing Recognition Event: The Pinnacle Awards

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) December 13, 2017 -- For years the Pinnacle Awards have showcased amazing work from the Rochester marketing community, culminating in a celebratory awards show. This year’s submissions portal opened December 8th, 2017 and will remain open through January 30th, 2018. The organization is offering discounted event tickets to early submitters until December 31st.

“Marketing and advertising is an industry filled with award shows,” says AMA Rochester President Rosanne Bellavia. “What makes the AMA Pinnacle Awards different is the focus on results. It celebrates successful work and allows us to learn from each other.”

Technology today makes marketing more measurable than ever. That means organizations large and small can track the results of their initiatives down to the click. There’s no reason to wonder if a campaign is working…or to judge work based on creativity alone.

Last year’s big winners:
Two local organizations received Marketer of the Year honors at the 2017 event.

  • The Allendale Columbia School and its agency, Dixon Schwabl, won for their “Make Your Mark Gala” campaign in the Non-Profit category.
  • Paychex won for its “Let’s Do Something Great” campaign in the For Profit category.

This year’s hot categories:
“We expect a lot of entries in all the digital categories,” says Pinnacle Awards co-chair Nikki Nisbet. “Websites and social media continue to be hot. Because that’s where marketing budgets are moving. But we always see a lot of entries in the events category. And the results are incredible!”

How judging works:
This year’s entries will be judged by professional marketers from the Columbus, Ohio, chapter of the American Marketing Association. Because the AMA is an international organization, it’s possible to coordinate with other chapters for objective, out-of-town awards show judging. In fact, in the past year alone, Rochester chapter members have been involved with judging for marketing campaigns in Alaska, Ohio, and California.
