“My name is David Allen Wright. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1973 to Mr. Charles and Virginia Wright. My upbringing was in the church, but as many children do, I strayed from what I was taught. I thought that in life I knew it all and set out to prove it. The life that I lived the past 43 years has been what I made of it. Good, bad or indifferent, I made these choices myself. I got into trouble following what I knew to be the wrong way. Of course, I had ups and downs, with more downs than ups. I learned a lot along the way but mostly I learned this great truth: Our thoughts are the things that create what we have in life. We, as everyday humans, have the power to reach deep inside our minds and dare to be HAPPY. We have the power to produce in thought all that we wish and see in our minds. My mother would always tell me as a child, “Don't let anyone steal your dreams.” I learned that meant to think freely. As long as you have the courage and strength to Think for Yourself, your everyday dreams can be attained. If you would only live a life based on controlling your thoughts, you would see that heaven isn't so far away. Being lost is one thing. But to be lost and to have no understanding that you are lost is entirely another. You can find your way if you Think for Yourself.”

While speaking with David about his book, he had this to say:
“If you have purchased this book, you are a seeker just like me. Well, what you are seeking is seeking you. We have no concept of the true capacity of our minds, but it is our minds that produce, manifest and bring forth all that we see. It is said that we only utilize ten percent of our brainpower, but how is this possible? It is because our minds are closed. It is because we only believe what we have been told, and we only study that which we believe.
“Consider that children are free thinkers at birth, but through training they experience a systematic wearing down of their thought process. I want to help you get back to the place of having “childlike faith.”
