Cedric Case ('19) Breaks 3 NSAA State Single Season Passing Records to Blaze Trail to Nebraska High School Football All-State and Super State Selections
LINCOLN, Neb. (PRWEB) December 12, 2017 -- The Lincoln High Links are back on the map in the Nebraska High School football landscape. After a prolonged 25 year absence from the playoffs, 2017 marked back to back years the Links made the state playoffs, finishing this season with an 8-2 record and finishing the season ranked #8 in the state.
A key cog in the equation to the season of success was Junior signal caller Cedric Case ('19). The 6'2, 195 lb Quarterback, who already owns every significant school passing record at Lincoln High, had another stellar season leading the high flying Link offense.
Case finished the season with an impressive 3.249 yards (NSAA Single Season Record), 35 TDs vs only 4 INT. He completed an astounding 200 of 293 attempts for a 68.3% completion (NSAA Single Season Record), and averaged 324.9 YPG (NSAA Single Season Record). Case finished the season with a remarkable QBR of 139.10 (tops in the state with anyone over 15 pass attempts).
Case is viewed as pro-style quarterback due to his awareness, ability to dissect coverage and marksmen-like accuracy; but Case also possesses an uncanny ability to slide in the pocket, avoid pressure, extend the play and make throws on the run that often result in explosive plays.
His college choice is still undecided; Cedric has already taken unofficial visits to Kansas, Nebraska, Northwest Missouri State, and Oklahoma this past fall.
Cedric is also a standout student carrying a 3.8 GPA. For this season's work he earned the honors of All-Conference, Academic All-Conference, All-City, All-State, Academic All-State and Super-State(all classes).
