Executives to Share Insights into Online Communities, Including Increasing Member Engagement, Leveraging Marketing Automation and the Impact of M&A

Higher Logic today announced that CEO Rob Wenger, President Andy Steggles, and Strategic Service Manager Vivian Swertinski will be presenting at this year’s ASAE Technology Conference & Expo, scheduled for December 12-13, 2017, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Md. The ASAE Technology Conference & Expo is the premier technology conference for association professionals, and the focus of the Higher Logic team will be the impact of current technology trends on associations and their communities. Higher Logic will also be exhibiting in Booth #423.

Rob Wenger, a successful entrepreneur and business executive, has spent nearly two decades helping associations use smart, collaborative technology to get the most out of their communities.

On Wednesday, December 13, Wenger will participate in two events:
Community Town Hall: Mergers and Consolidations –The Effect on the Association Community (9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.) – This panel discussion will explore the surprising impact the frequent merger and acquisition of technology companies is having on association members, partners and entire communities. The panel will be moderated by Reggie Henry, CAE, Chief Information and Engagement Officer, ASAE

Fail Fest (2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) – Fail Fest is a fast-paced, interactive exploration of the important role mistakes play in innovation. Leaders will share their stories about mistakes made and lessons learned. Fail Fest will be moderated by Tori Liu, CAE, Director of Information Technology, ASHA

Andy Steggles, a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and events, travels the globe to educate professionals about the importance of collaborative software, the cloud, and the impact technology makes on the community it serves.

On Tuesday, December 12, Steggles will present:
5 Keys to Disrupting Member Engagement, Improving Satisfaction and Growing Retention (10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.) – This talk will reveal successful member engagement strategies uncovered in the latest Community Benchmarking Report, produced by MGI & Higher Logic, and share ways to map engagement opportunities into personalized, meaningful member experiences.

Vivian Swertinski partners with Higher Logic clients to develop engagement strategies that leverage the power of marketing automation tools.

On Tuesday, December 12, Swertinski will participate in two events:
Non-Dues Revenue Source: How to Increase Registrations with Automation (8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.) -- Swertinski will discuss how to move away from a one-size-fits-all approach to communication and instead use marketing automation to create a one-to-one communication style that resonates with audiences and drives results.

(1:45 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.) -- Along with Elizabeth Arritt, marketing director at the American Association of Airport Executives, Swertinski will reveal how two associations turned the phrase “market like Amazon” into a reality by leveraging technology to more strategically promote their events.
