After learning of tragedies involving unnecessary shootings by police officers due to drivers not keeping their hands on the wheel, an inventor from Punta Gorda, Fla., considered how problematic it is that drivers must retrieve their licenses and registration papers from pockets, purses or glove compartments. "My design solves this problem," she said.

The patent-pending L & R enables a user to show his or her license and registration when pulled over by police in a quicker, easier manner. It allows him or her to keep both hands on the steering wheel or within view at all times. This avoids suspicion and nervousness, which can prevent unnecessary force.

Ideal for all drivers, the L & R promotes peace of mind, safety and preservation of life.

The inventor has created a prototype of her idea.

The original design was submitted to the Naples office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
