InventHelp Inventor Develops Safety Enhancing Weightlifting Accessories
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 11, 2017 -- Although lifting weights is a great way for individuals to stay healthy and fit, if certain moves are not executed properly, it can lead to injury. One of the most important rules when picking up heavy weights off the ground is to lift with the legs and not the back.
An inventor from Rockingham, Va., has invented the patent-pending TRAP-EZ, a new set of accessories for weightlifters. "Due to my lower back problems, I have issues bending down to pick up dumbbells when I want to do shrugs," said the inventor. "One day while weightlifting, it occurred to me that there had to be an easier way, which inspired me to invent Trap-ez." TRAP-EZ eliminates the need for an individual to bend over in order to lift heavy dumbbells off the floor when performing shoulder shrugs and other such exercises. It reduces stress and strain on the back, enhancing comfort and preventing injuries.
This invention allows an individual to better isolate and target the trapezius muscles between his neck and shoulders. Additionally, it ensures the individual uses his legs to lift heavy weights from the floor and not his back. With this invention, an avid weightlifter can help to prevent discomfort and injury, enhancing their safety.
