Discount Power (Texas) Year-End Fundraising Drive Tied To Customer Enrollment
HOUSTON (PRWEB) December 12, 2017 -- Discount Power (Texas), a Houston-based retail electricity provider, today announced that for every new customer that enrolls through any channel between December 13, 2017 – December 31, 2017 the company will donate $5 to the Greater Houston Community Foundation’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. There is no cap on the amount Discount Power will donate. This fundraiser is an extension of an earlier relief initiative launched in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The company created a matching program through the American Red Cross to assist those affected.

The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, set up by Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, provides immediate and long-term relief efforts in Harris County and Houston. To date, the fund has raised over $105 million.
