Ginger Labs Updates Notability with new features, improvements, and bug fixes
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) December 18, 2017 -- Notability, the best-selling productivity app on iPad in 2017, gains new features, improvements, and bug fixes. New items include:
Margin Control
We added a toggle to control margins during export of PDFs. For the first time, customers can control margins when exporting notes in PDF format, and can preview it before export.
Fast Search
Search speed is greatly improved and is virtually instantaneous. Notability indexes typed text and text in PDFs, and once indexed, customers can search All Notes or notes in a specific Subject. On iPad, the page navigator shows the pages that include search results, with highlighted instances of the words, making it easy to find content.
Improved Reliability for Audio Recordings
We improved audio recovery in the event the app is terminated while recording. Our customers will greatly appreciate the improved reliability of audio recordings.
Improved integration with Files
Opening a PDF document in Notability from Files now allows page selection. Customers import PDFs of varying lengths into Notability, and sometimes only select pages are desired, and this update supports that.
Improved iCloud integration
Notes will no longer be duplicated when enabling / disabling iCloud sync in the app.
Several bugs were fixed in the areas of handwriting, naming a note, importing notes from cloud services, sticky notes, and more.
Notability 7.2 works on iPhone and iPad running iOS 9 and greater.
The update is free for customers who have already purchased it on the App Store.
Ginger Labs develops Notability for iPad, iPhone, and Mac. Introduced in 2010, Notability is the best selling note taker and PDF annotator on the App Store*. Students, teachers, and professionals use Notability daily to take notes, sketch ideas, create checklists, annotate PDFs, mark-up photos, record lectures, provide audio feedback, and more. Notability saves time and helps customers get more out of each class since notes link to audio recordings automatically, just tap a note to hear what was said at that exact moment. Notability is simple enough for first graders to use, and powerful enough for graduate school students and professionals.
*Apple recently published the Top Apps Chart for 2017, it shows Notability to be the best selling paid productivity app on iPad.
