As a Senior Advisor, Hilger will leverage his experience leading health systems by providing guidance to organizations as they transition to new payment structures, delivery systems, and innovative care models.

Prior to joining HEI, Hilger served for over 15 years as CEO of multi-hospital healthcare systems such as HealthOne in Colorado and HealthEast in Minnesota. Hilger was responsible for helping large health systems integrate staff and administrative services among hospitals, physicians, and sub-acute providers. More recently, Hilger served as a Senior Vice President of UnitedHealth Group and Vice President of United Surgical Partners International Inc.
