Jerry Taylor Joins RIVA Precision Manufacturing Team as Product Development Director
NEW YORK (PRWEB) December 14, 2017 -- RIVA Precision Manufacturing, the fine jewelry development hub located in the Brooklyn Army Terminal, is restructuring the business for expansion, with a new PD hire ahead of the Arizona gem shows, and in time for the holiday season. The company is renowned nationally for its exceptional design, quality, and customer service, working with large jewelry houses, as well as catalogs for custom solutions. Recently, RIVA announced the launch of an expedited 3D printing service, available nationally. With the launch, the company is expanding product development capabilities into new divisions, with Product Development Director, Jerry Taylor, at the helm.
Before his current position at RIVA, Jerry Taylor managed PD and casting at Hoover and Strong, where he created product line strategies and improvement plans across custom jewelry and cast products. Prior to that, Taylor had experience managing jewelers and shop workers for repairs, and was a plant operation director for two other companies. His expertise across tools, techniques, cost analysis, and manufacturability complement RIVA’s efforts for expanded specialty growth, with select services becoming available more widely to the trade.
Taylor says, “I am very excited to have joined the RIVA team, where customers and employees are highly valued, backed by the pursuit of excellence. RIVA has given me the tools and technology needed to be creative, meeting challenges to solve the customers’ manufacturing needs, from CAD to the finished product. I am looking forward in developing relationships with our customers and co-workers, and continue to grow RIVA’s customer base and services to the market.”
CEO and Founder of RIVA Precision Manufacturing, Ted Doudak, says, “As we grow the services available to customers, we are strengthening our technical capabilities. Jerry knows the process, and has a good handle on the customer’s demand for attention and detail. We are glad to have him on board.”
