Protective Covering for Rear Hatch of SUVs/Vans Invented (IPL-470)
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 14, 2017 -- An inventor from Indianapolis, Ind., has developed the CAR-HATCH SHIELD, an impact-absorbing pad for the inside of a raised garage door for use when opening the rear hatch or door of an SUV or van. A working model prototype is available.
"I unload groceries from my van while it’s parked in the garage. I grew tired of holding the back hatch open while someone else unloaded groceries in order to prevent damage to the paint," said the inventor.
The CAR-HATCH SHIELD serves as an automatic cushion to protect the rear hatch or door of vans and SUVs. It protects and preserves the painted finish of the door, as well as damage to garage door panels. This shield keeps vehicles looking like new and prevents costly body shop repairs to the paint job.
The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
