Frederick County Chamber of Commerce Honors Public Safety Professionals
FREDERICK, Md. (PRWEB) December 18, 2017 -- The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce will recognize the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Medical Personnel at the 7th Annual Public Safety Awards. The awards breakfast will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Hall. Honorees will be selected by an unbiased committee of Chamber Members based on heroic acts and community service performed above and beyond the call of duty.
More than 300 attendees attended this event last year, including the division heads from Frederick County’s Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue, Animal Control, and Emergency Communications, as well as elected officials from the city and county. Dianah Gibson, WFRE radio personality will emcee the event and Sam Vitale, Sicilian Tenor, will perform the national anthem. Awards will be presented to Frederick’s bravest and most committed professionals who have made personal sacrifice to keep the community safe.
