Allied Anesthesia Sponsors St. Joe’s Record-Breaking Event
ORANGE, Calif. (PRWEB) December 19, 2017 -- Anesthesia medical group Allied Anesthesia today announced its Silver-level sponsorship of St. Joseph Hospital’s record-breaking Celebration 2017 held on Oct. 7 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. Grammy® nominee Martina McBride performed at the event, which raised more than $450,000 for the St. Joseph Hospital Heart and Vascular Center and its cardiac catheterization laboratory. More than 450 people attended the event.
The Heart and Vascular Center and cardiac catheterization lab at St. Joseph Hospital are considered next-generation facilities designed to improve the cost-effectiveness and quality of patient care by expanding the mix and types of procedures that can be done per room. An advanced catheterization lab is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support a greater-than-average range of cardiovascular procedures.
Allied anesthesiologist Dr. Alex Ramirez represented Allied Anesthesia as a member of the benefit’s steering committee. He said, “The benefit was in great part earmarked for the cardio catheterization lab – that’s something that matters a lot to the Allied team because we’re heavily involved in those intensive cases requiring that advanced technology. We’re extremely supportive of anything that has to do with bringing more and better technology to our patients.”
In addition to providing Silver sponsorship, Allied Anesthesia contributed to the benefit’s rare wine raffle, Dr. Ramirez said.
Celebration 2017 was part of St. Joseph Hospital’s ongoing campaign, “Innovating for a Healthier Community.” Those interested in learning more should visit the campaign web page at sjo.org/campaign.
