SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (PRWEB) December 13, 2017 -- Professional ninja athletes from NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” — Daniel Gil, Maggi Thorne and Jonathan Horton — have teamed up with Convoy of Hope as ambassadors for feedONE. The feedONE campaign raises funds to feed more than 160,000 children in 11 countries where Convoy of Hope provides nutritious food, clean and safe drinking water, and education.
“We are honored to have support from the Ninja Coalition,” says Hal Donaldson, president of Convoy of Hope. “We are excited to work together to feed hungry children around the world.”
Gil, Thorne and Horton have partnered with additional ninjas to form the Ninja Coalition that speaks at schools across the country encouraging students to make a positive impact in the world. Through these speaking engagements, students learn about feedONE and how they can make a difference right where they are.
“We are excited to partner with Convoy of Hope to help raise awareness for feedONE,” says Jonathan Horton, Olympic silver medalist and member of the Ninja Coalition. “We look forward to traveling with them and seeing firsthand all the good work they are doing in the lives of many.”
The ninjas will also travel to El Salvador with Convoy of Hope in January to visit the children being fed through the program and will build an obstacle course for kids at a local orphanage.
