FFHL Earns Coveted Charity Navigator 4-Star Rating for Fourth Consecutive Year
INDIANAPOLIS (PRWEB) December 15, 2017 -- The Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land’s (FFHL’s) strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency have earned it a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator.
This is the fifth consecutive time that the FFHL has earned this top distinction. Only 25% of charities achieve the four star rating, and only 8% achieve it five years in a row.
“The Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land’s exceptional 4-star rating sets it apart from its peers and demonstrates its trustworthiness to the public,” according to Michael Thatcher, President & CEO of Charity Navigator. “This adds the FFHL to a preeminent group of charities working to overcome our world’s most pressing challenges. People can trust that their donations are going to a financially responsible and ethical charity.”
“It’s important our donors trust that we’re using their donations wisely to support our Christian brothers and sisters in the Holy Land,” said Fr. Peter Vasko, President of the FFHL. “Our 4-star rating demonstrates our good stewardship and financial accountability.”
