Kent Moyer, CEO of the World Protection Group, Speaks Out on the Manhattan Suicide Bombing
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) December 13, 2017 -- On Monday, December 11th, at approximately 7:20 AM, a pipe bomb device partially detonated in the New York City Subway’s Times Square-42nd Street/Port Authority Bus Terminal Station, injuring five people. The city’s mayor, Bill de Blasio, has described the incident as “an attempted terrorist attack.” The suspected bomber was identified by police as 27-year-old Akayed Ullah, an immigrant from Bangladesh. Ullah has since declared that he was working on behalf of ISIS and that the purpose of the attack was to “avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world.”
Kent Moyer, CEO of the World Protection Group, is not pleased with state politicians’ actions that he believes have contributed to this attack. “It is hard to watch Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio speak about the terrorist attack and yet promote New York and New York City as a sanctuary state and city,” Moyer says. “They are part of this major problem and both have allowed terrorists to live in this country and protect them from being deported from New York City and state.”
Moyer strongly believes that changing New York City’s status as a "sanctuary city" will serve to prevent terrorists’ ability to enter the United States with intention of planning and carrying out attacks on civilians. “We need to deport these people and stop them from coming into the U.S.,” Moyer says.
In order to curb these types of attacks on American soil, Moyer advocates for following Donald Trump’s lead in strengthening the United States’ counter-terrorism protocols. “President Trump is trying to get rid of the terrorists from the U.S. as well as not let any in,” Moyer articulates. “Cuomo and de Blasio keep fighting President Trump in the protection of all Americans.”
Moyer has continuously praised the NYPD and other first responders to the scene of the attack, saying that the “NYPD is an amazing organization and they responded as they have in other attacks in a rapid way to stop any further damage.”
